Greetings. I apologize if my post is not in accordance with all rules, i simply could not get any of the please read topics to open, the computer just spun and spun, never opened them
I believe my question is probably very simple though. background: I started with VS6 years ago and have since upgraded to x10, so pretty familiar with the basics, which is all i use to cut out dead time in soccer videos taking them from 90 minutes to 60 or sometimes just to 10 minutes of scoring highlights. As of yesterday, i was editing videos like usual without issue, cut and delete, play forward til next dead spot, cut and delete, etc.... Today, during editing, when i hit play after a cut and delete, the scrubber jumps forward a few seconds on the time line before it actually starts playing again, so i have to keep dragging the scrubber back to see what i missed in the video. Any idea why it would act this way? did i accidentally change some setting?
Related, if memory serves, on old versions when i cut a 20 second clip and deleted it, i believe the scrubber would return to the spot where the clip was removed from. In X10, the scrubber stays at the end of the deleted clip on the timeline, so again i have to keep dragging the scrubber back to the point where the clip was removed from.
Thanks for any help you can offer!!
