Selecting Crop Tool Resets Zoom Level
Does this problem http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=54504 still exist in the newer versions? I'm still using X6 and will have to stay there unless this changes.

Re: Selecting Crop Tool Resets Zoom Level
If I drag and drop an image into the untabbed, Edit workspace , with Pan tool selected , zoom in and then choose the Crop tool the window remains zoomed in --- the first time BUT?
It shifts the point of view to the centre of the zoomed in image. So the zoomed in portion is still stuffed around with.
In addition now any new image dropped into the workspace now has an area of workspace around the image which is remembered in Crop tool use.
This is a new introduced bug from the unasked for change to the Crop tool to rotate the image rather than the crop rectangle.
So if the Crop tool bug is a make or break thing better stay with PSP X6.

Re: Selecting Crop Tool Resets Zoom Level
Thanks for the info. I really tried to get used to the new behavior in X8, but just couldn't do it.
X6 still does everything I need to do, so I'll just keep with it.

Re: Selecting Crop Tool Resets Zoom Level
My version of X9 did zoom to the cursor. However, my version of PSP 2018 does not zoom to the cursor when using the crop tool. Is there a work around? A preference setting perhaps...
