burning AVCHD folders

Post by woodchuck »

I just created a short slideshow in Video Studio 10. I created an MPEG4 file and the quality was fantastic. I also burned a DVD and was not happy with the quality. I then burned a AVCHD disc (burned on a standard DVD) and the results were great when played on my Blu-ray player. I noticed that there was an option to create an AVCHD folder during the burn process. My question is this -- how do I burn the AVCHD to disc from the folder? I assume I will need special software but don't know what to get.

Try the freeware ImgBurn which I think can do the job. Failing that you will need a commercial program like Nero or the Roxio suite, or the the cheaper Ashampoo Burning Studio.
