x10 render Is Not Utilizing CPU

Post by foomom2712 »

Hi,
My PC: Ryzen 1600, 16GB RAM, VGA 1050Ti 4G.
When I rendered, X10 has only used 20%-30% CPU. And rendering video is very slow.
But when I render video normally and no effect, It used >80% CPU and rendering is fast.
I checked the GPU, it only used <40% :(.
How do I fix it?

Not sure I understand what you mean by this statement. If you mean, rendering is fast without many edits, filters, titles, etc. then yes that should be the fastest rendering.

Rendering CPU utilization is not predictable. Some edits and filters end up using hard disk during the rendering thus not high CPU use. Best is to have the most powerful PC with lots of memory, and fast SSD drives. Exploring ticking all the hardware performance options sometimes speeds things up, but sometimes it messes the results.
