Some interface's font too small

I'm using PSP X4 for years, (traditional chinese version) and want to upgrade to newer version for years, too.

I've tried X9/2018, there's still one major problem : some newer PSP interface's font way too small .

I've email to Corel support about the problem since X9 trial version, but the reply seems irrelevant with my question.

2018 come out and I found the problem still exists, maybe not an issue on english version, but really an issue on my chinese version. since chinese character are more complicate than english , small font should be adjustable to be readable.

Although the icon/scroll bar size etc. can be adjust in 2018 version, but I can't find any setting can change the PSP interface's small font size.

attached file was snapshot of my PC(win7/64bit, 1920*1080 desktop resolution), in order to meet the 950*800 pixels attachment restriction, I crop the original 1920*1080 screen capture, to show 1:1 pixel jpg.

This problem stop me to upgrade my PSP X4 for years, wish this problem can be solved by adding some system font setting in preference section, and release 2018 service pack soon.

Attached screen capture is the similar layout with PSP X4, that's reasonable size for chinese characters.

My system is win7/ 64bit, use onboard intel Graphics, display resolution 1920*1080, ratio setting is default: small(100%)

In my system, PSP X4's small font equals the size 11 pt in MS-WORD 2003.

Since newest PSP 2018 can set different icon/scroll bar sizes, the PSP main interface's text size should be adjustable , and such function for pure text size adjustment should be easier than icon/scroll bar ?

Is there any PSP's programming team here? I really want to upgrade my X4 to newest version, but the small font size stop me !!

I completely agree. It is a mistake not to have made the application font bigger in the first place; and another of many substandard aspects of Paintshop X+ suggesting that the programme has been cobbled together from multiple teams' input without proper integration or management oversight. Another is the fact that in the 2018 version some tools (for example Depth of Field or Smart Photo FIx) launch before-and-after style windows, while others rely on the old-fashioned interface. It really is a cludge. I am with it mainly because at my advanced age I cannot easily learn to use a different system. I have tried, but I keep coming back to PSP despite its many flaws. I suspect that is the case for many of us - that loyalty is bred from use rather than respect.

There's a patch released last month, and this "font way too small" issue has not been fixed at all. Enlarge icons/scroll bar won't help anything......
