Okay I have some photos have exhibit this obvious grain or noise and I've learned of this tool to minimize it. But when I scroll down the Adjust menu and see this entry called Add/Remove Noise it only shows adding. Not removing.
What's up with that?

Re: Removing noise
In Adjust menu under Add/remove noise there should be several entries for tool for specific types of noise issues- if you don't see them reset your workspace - hold down Shift key while starting PSP or
Click on Preferencesin the drop down list
Click on Reset Preferences
Add a checkmarkto these options
Reset Workspace to Default Configuration
Delete all cache files (Active caches rebuilt on restart)
Click the OKbutton
However, at the top of the Adjust menu you will see selections for One Step Noise Removal and Digital Noise removal- these are the tools you want. I prefer Digital Noise Removal as it has more customizable settings and controls for removing noise.

Re: Removing noise
As rondo says, there should be quite a few options in the flyout for Add/Remove noise. Some add, some remove, and most have various settings.
