X9 Freezes at 48%

Post by tomperys »

Hi

I have problems with x9 studio. I have one video (.mp4) athat I added and without any modification just try to save it as .avi format. It freezes always at 48% and I had to shut down the whope app through taskmanager. Any idea why this is happening??? (I installed the latest service pack for VideoStudio - servicepack 5 and Iam using Win10 Pro, 64bit OS).

Hi

Probably the mp4 file has variable frame rate - convert to fixed frame rate, if so. Use MediaInfo to interrogate the file properties.

Is the file from a mobile phone or similar device?

Have you exported any other MP4 files from PowerPoint that work as required in VS?

Try outputting using different output parameters, you give little to no information, so guessing is the best I can do.

Run the output file through Handbrake to a another mp4 file using standard mp4 properties. The import that to VS. Does that render to AVI.
