Re: Adding presets
A vague question!!???
It depends on what tool or action you are doing.
File > New gives you the New Image dialog box with Blank Canvas chosen.
Type in your Width, Height and Resolution and any other features of your new image.
Then near the bottom centre click the + (Add) to then make that a preset. Type in the reminder info for that preset.
Click OK and you are done.
Other type of preset:
Click on the Crop Tool
Click the Clear button to the left of Pixel Dimensions
Type in a width (W) and height (H) value and tick the Maintain Aspect Ratio button.
Click the Presets button and to the right click on the disk icon (Save preset) button.
Add any details to the Preset name in the Save Preset dialog box.
Click OK and you have your preset.
Other variation of preset:
with image loaded :
Adjust > Color > Channel Mixer
Click the Show/Hide Preview (Preview) - you can also click show Preview on image box near top right.
Move some sliders , tick the Monochrome box for some interesting black and whites.
When happy with the result of your settings click the disk icon to right of the Settings box and the Save Preset dialog appears.
Type in the details (eg Dark sky) and click OK and your preset is saved.
