See my post re precise offset rotation of raster objects http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=62189
Options for Pivot X & Y, Position X & Y being a % (of the canvas size) instead of pixels. Position X & Y being the center of the object rather than the top left.

Re: Wishlist for Paint Shop Pro 2019
Thanks for the speed increase in 2018. That was my biggest complaint of PSP ever since Corel took over, and almost gave up using it. I started to gravitate exclusively to Photoshop because once it's initially loaded, the performance seems decent. I've been a PSP fan since Jasc PSP 5, so I'd hate to give up on it.
Zooming in and out, quickly with the mouse wheel on larger images still lags a bit, though improved, but still lags. Panning also blurs the image (while zoomed in) also. I zoom in and pan a lot while editing photos, so the blurriness is kind of annoying.
I noticed that Photoshop and now the new version of ACDsee 2018 support GPU support. I wonder if this would help with that.

I don't find any lag using the mouse wheel to quickly zoom an image of approx. 5000x3000px (don't know what you consider a larger image). When zoomed and then panned swiftly there is sometimes what you may mean by blurring (i.e., striations caused by the image catching up as it is being dragged) but the image resolves properly in a fraction of a second as soon as the dragging stops.bobthegoat2001 wrote:Zooming in and out, quickly with the mouse wheel on larger images still lags a bit, though improved, but still lags. Re: Wishlist for Paint Shop Pro 2019
At first excuse my bad English)
I love PSP ever since he was Jasc) I can not bring myself to go to Photoshop.
But I want the PSP to keep up with the PS
In PS, if you have started a selection (for example, a circle) in the wrong place, you can move it without ending the selection. (key Space).
In PSP, however, you have to try to allocate several times until you get the right position.
If you create a group of layers with different types of overlay - everything goes wrong. The type is based on the group types of overlay.
In Adobe PS for such cases there is a type "skip" and each layer retains its own overlapping overlap.
I would like to improve the possibilities of free transformation (deformation) (like in PS)
Thank you

That the menu bar in a light-gray theme was also light gray, but not dark.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by "allocate" in your second sentence.Varekaj wrote:In PS, if you have started a selection (for example, a circle) in the wrong place, you can move it without ending the selection. (key Space).
In PSP, however, you have to try to allocate several times until you get the right position.
However, if you create a selection (circle, rectangle, etc.) and want to move it you can just right-click and hold within the selection and then drag to move it where you want. If you wish to resize it, for example, after moving it you can do it with Selections>Edit Selection and use the Pick tool to resize and/or move the selection.

Thank you for your answer.JoeB wrote: I'm not quite sure I understand
For example. If you create a selection near the border of image you may go beyond, and you can not move the circle by right button, because it will be cut off. Second example: Yes ...
but you have to edit the selection several times to find the right position and size. When you use the Pick tool, the selection turns into a floating fragment. And this is not the same. I say directly about the selection.Varekaj wrote: you can just right-click and hold within the selection and then drag to move it where you want. In PS, you can easily move the selection in the process of creating and this is very convenient.

I would very much to have a free transformation, like in the PS.
This gives full freedom!

Median brush would be nice for retouching.
Warp brush with masking capability.
and I second mesh warp like free transform too.

Re: Wishlist for Paint Shop Pro 2019
Been a Paint Shop Pro loyalist since Jasc (I think 5 was my first), upgrade about every other version, and just got 2018. Love the speed and the customizations.
Current annoyances that I hope get fixed in subsequent versions:
1. An easy way to re-dock toolbars if they accidentally get dragged off the top bar. Right now the only way to re-dock things like zoom, eraser, clone brush settings, etc. is to reload the workspace. If I drag them to the top or any other margin they don't re-dock. This was a problem with X8 and is still a problem with 2018, and happened on both Win7 and Win10.
2. I like the Essentials workspace except for one thing that makes it useless to me: lack of a vertical scrollbar. Why was this omitted? No, I don't really want to know, just put it back. Makes it impossible to work with my images unless I'm in the Complete workspace.

Re: Wishlist for Paint Shop Pro 2019
I know EXACTLY what you are talking about, and I second this wish! I could easily do this with PS Elements. They need to add an option along with "replace", "add" and "remove". Something that let's us move the circle to the exact part we want to copy or cut, instead of having to use undo and trying again.Varekaj wrote:Thank you for your answer.JoeB wrote: I'm not quite sure I understand

Re: Wishlist for Paint Shop Pro 2019
I would like to see some improvements to the Curves Adjustment.
I would like to see the On Image adjustment of Photoshop included in PSP.
I have hesitated using Curves in Paintshop Pro as I have to use trial and error to work out which spot on the curves line represents which part of the image.
In Photoshop with On Image Adjustment selected you can click on a point in your image that you want to change and a point appears on the curves line .
You move that point and the effect is shown in the selected part of the image.

Re: Wishlist for Paint Shop Pro 2019
Hello,
1)
I dont know why this is not yet developed.
It would be so usefull for us programmers.
Allow the screen capture to be started separately and kept in the tray as a lightweight application.
If you hit the hotkey it brings only the capture. When you click accept (capture) now it opens PaintShopPro directly in edit mode.
Thanks for the best image editor ever made for programmers!
