PSP X9 Plugins Giving Me Grief

Post by Muriel »

Good Evening..

When I first installed and set up PSP X9 a couple of days ago, I linked to the folders containing my treasured collection of plugins. They were all there, just as nature and Corel intended. Now however, they have disappeared except two. I deleted the links and reconnected them, Nothing. I rebooted the program. Nothing. I tried moving one of them to the Plugin file in Program Files (x86) but it didn't materialize in the program. Versions X4 and X6 are linked to these folders and are working flawlessly.

What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks..

PSP X4 and X6 are 32bit programs. PSP X9 comes in 32bit and 64bit versions. Most plugins (and those in the x86 plugins folders) are 32bit plugins. They will only show and work with the 32bit version of X9. I suspect you are trying to see them in the 64bit version.

Well Hello Again!

Well, Saints Preserve Us!!

It has been only a few minutes since I began this thread, and I am here to tell you This Forum Is Pure Magic!! I closed and restarted the program for the umpeenth time, and BINGO! There they were, displayed in all their glory! I have no idea whether or not they all work, but if not I shall likely be back!

I don't know how you do it!

Many thanks,

Muriel!

Good Morning, Joe,

Thank-you so much for your prompt reply.

I suspect you hit the nail on the head. I have icons for both versions on my desktop, but because of annoying vision issues at the moment, I could not see which was the 32bit version. I may well have been working with the 64bit version. Anyway, I am delighted!

Gotta love this forum!

Muriel!

You could always right click the desktop icon and use Rename to, say, insert "64" before PSP so that in future you would be able to see better which version you are opening.
