X9 Asks to connect to internet when installing
I have the PaintShop Pro X9 Ultimate.. It was working great! Now it freezes every time I try to use (I read the post on this issue) So I uninstalled the program.. And tried to reinstall. When I get to activating program, I get a time out message..It says connect to internet to finish (Internet is connected) Any suggestions?

Re: X9 Times out
Do you get this sort of white screen when you try to open X9: http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 65#p345665
If so, you might want to try the possible solution I posted immediately below that post.

You have to go to Control Panel > Internet Options and choose the Advanced tab. Down at the bottom you will see a Reset button with the words "Resets Internet Explorer's settings to their default condition". Click that button. Then try reopening PSP.

Re: X9 Times up
No, not getting a white screen. It just gets about half way, when validating the serial number. Then the times up screen comes up

Re: X9 Times up
When you say "times up" screen are you saying it's complaining it's taking too long or is it telling you have any installed X9 too many times? In either case you can contact Corel support.

Re: X9 Times up
Was saying Times up.. Need to connect to internet to finish validating serial number
Now it's saying: Unable to validate serial number. An internet connection is required to complete the installation.
I didn't have any issues installing when I first got it

Re: X9 Times up
Could your AV or firewall be blocking it?
