When that happens, usually this can be fixed by going to C:\Users\[YourName]\AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro (x64) and renaming the 20.0 folder there to, say, 20.0_Old. Then restarting X10. It will take longer than usual to open because it is rebuilding that folder, hopefully this time taking Essentials V into account.

I tried this ....with tech support, it didn't work!

But this is a great tool (i think) should you ever have to re-install the program and you want to recover all your media libraries, "as is"?

Thanks... think my work around is the only solution -- very mysterious that other NB filter packs all installed without issue
