Thanks Kathy, JoeB, and HartPaul,

Unfortunately still no dice. The PerfectlyClear installer does not have an uninstaller (and nothing in Control Panel remotely even close -- I think the installer just installs the plugins into PaintShop Pro). So I just went ahead and deleted the "Perfectly Clear SE v3" folder in the Plugins/EN directory, and then tried re-installing it using the installer. No error with the PerfectlyClear installer, but when I go into PaintShop Pro still same exact missing files error I got before.

The "PerfectlyClearSE.8bf" file does show up in the location HartPaul indicated, as shown, size is 4,182 KB.

On the plus side I also tried installing it on my laptop (Core i7, 8GB) and that worked fine. It works on my laptop.

Thanks for all the help -- other than uninstalling PaintShop Pro 2018 itself and doing a full re-install, does anyone have any more ideas? I feel the key to the issue is this 8bf file and some bug with the installer? Probably works most of the time, odd that it is failing on my Desktop. Is it some kind of licensing file?

I resolved my install issue with PerfectlyClear, although not painless. ;-)

I completely uninstalled PSP 2018. I re-installed PSP 2018. I then installed PerfectlyClear.

PerfectlyClear now works. :-)

PerfectlyClear installer must gave glitched the first time I installed PerfectlyClear. Probably a combination of something unique to my desktop and some bug in the installer.

There is a blog post exactly about MuRa's Meister here:
http://scrapbookcampus.com/2017/08/feat ... er-clouds/

It might help you as this particular plugin (like others) is not compatible "out of the box" with newer PSP versions.

I'm beyond frustrated with trying to get plugins to work in this version. I have no problems with PSP 9, and wish I had not upgraded. Plugins are important to me, and this version is buggy beyond belief. I have spent hours on this, with help from Corel. It should not be this complicated.

If you are looking for assistance, it would help if you said whether you are using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of PSP2018 and specifically which plug-ins are not working, error message, etc.

Exactly my issue. I can't even get my Topaz plugins into the program, let alone use them. So frustrating.
Also back and forth with emails to Corel trying to get it fixed. I am thinking of asking for a refund, and just going back to x9 (so glad I didn't delete it).
Tried everything they suggested, plus my own machinations added to the mix. Nothing. :/
You're right, it should not be this complicated.

As Kathy has already said to zulabarr, it would be extremely helpful if you could state whether you are using the 64 or 32 bit version of PSP when you are having problems. And apart from Topaz, what are the other plug-ins with which you are having problems?

It isn't complicated at all for most of us. Using the 32bit version of PSP2018 I have my file location for Topaz set to C:\Program Files(x86)\Topaz Labs and the plugins show up in Plugins and work just fine for me. I don't have Topaz in the 64bit version (if there is one) so can't say how well it would work in PSP2018 64bit.

You may have to use the FM Patcher for a lot of the plugins. If not, the plugin will freeze your psp. I had to do that in X9, so they also work in 2018 because they are already patched.

Here as well. WIndows 10, using the 32 bit PSP 2018. I have easily 200 plugins including Nik, they worked fine with versions 7, x7, x9 but are greyed out in 2018. Looks like the only ones working are MV's and Eye Candy 5.

Posted earlier today but I guess it hasn't been approved yet, so I'll try this one more time. I was also having problems with plugins in the 32-bit version of 2018, as I have hundreds of them and most were greyed out. Tonight I uninstalled PSP and re-installed, and they are all working now.

Correct, apologies for the delay, Admin

Kathy, I am trying to import Harry's Filters into Filters Unlimited but I am still getting an error message that There is no file even though I have the file HarrysFilters4.8bf . I am trying to install it for the 32-bits version of my PSP2018 (even if I have a 64-bits machine). Is there something else I should do?
