MuRa doesn't seem to work as a stand alone plugin in Windows 10. One of these plugins that are just too old now. Filters Unlimited should work fine in your 32-bit version. And yes, you can import MuRa into FU.
You can import a lot of filters in FU:

I appreciate your feedback/assistance...sooo I AM getting the error as you shared with the link about FU

"If the filters aren't valid filter factory plugins, you get this error and you have to move the filters from the temp folder into the PSP/plugins folder; but if they are valid, they will be added to the Filters Unlimited database. "
Image

I did what they stated..copied those filters/plugins into the plugins folder of PSP (whether it was the 32 bit or 64 bit ..I saw two plugin folders for each version)...and it still gave me that above error (that is an older image I copied from that website, but the error reads the same)...

Oh and I failed to mention I also tried the FM patcher utility to see if that would help, ran it as administrator and it said something about it not being able to find the files or another...bah!

Not all plug-ins need to be imported into Filters Unlimited. Older Filter Factory plug-ins usually do. This should give you some guidance.

Jenna - I just remembered that I had a similar problem with Mura filters. I did the same as you and ran them through FM Patcher and still no luck but I did find a patched version online that works for me.

You can find them here:

One last question, I HOPE *lol*....when I do import through FU, do I need to do it each time I need to use let's say a filter factory preset or are they already IN THERE after they're imported?

Once you import them, they are in there so you don't need to re-import each time you want to use them. By the way, the patched version of Mura filters I linked to above work fine in PSP 2018 without being imported into Filters Unlimited.

Effects>Plugins>Athentech. Athentech is the name of the company that created Perfectly Clear.

Got it - Thanks. Spent a lot of time in the help files searching for plugins or Perfectly clear with no joy. Should have asked you first!

I had the same problem the first time I installed Perfectly Clear. I ended up Googling for Perfectly Clear, which got me to the Athentech site, which was my hint to look for that in the Plugins list. :-)

screenshot of PerfectlyClear greyed out.
screenshot of PerfectlyClear greyed out.
I have a related issue. I have PaintShop Pro 2018 Ultimate (I installed the 64-bit version) on Windows 10 and installed PerfectlyClear.

The PerfectlyClear install says it was successful, However when I try to run this plug-in via: Effects --> Plugins --> Athentech Imaging --> PerfectlyClear SE v3...

The problem is that the "PerfectlyClear SE v3..." is greyed out and when I try to click on this greyed out menu choice nothing happens. :-(

I did check the plugins location that was described in an earlier post: Program Files --> Corel --> CorelPaintShop Pro (64-bit) --> Plugins --> EN

...and there is a PerfectlyClear SE v3 folder with a bunch of stuff in it. So it looks like it is installed, however the option to run the plug-in greyed-out, am I missing something?

Anyone know know what the problem is?

I solved my problem with the "greyed out" PerfectlyClear menu choice.

My bad -- apparently you have to have an image loaded in the workspace -- then the PerfectlyClear plugin option is active (not greyed-out). It was greyed-out because I did not have an image loaded in the workspace.

However -- I then ran into another problem. When I select "PerfectlyClear" from the plugins menu I get the following error message.
Note: I've tried installing PerfectlyClear SE v3 -- three times... and every time it says the install is successful.

The error of course seems to indicate I'm missing some files, so the question is where do I get these missing files, or how am I able to do a complete install of PerfectlyClear?

Maybe try an uninstall and reinstall of Perfectly Clear to see if that remedies the situation.

You should check the Plugins folder for the Perfectly Clear sub folder and see if the PerfectlyClearSE.8bf file is actually there.
