Capture & apply editing seemed to work fine with ...well long time ago with previous versions
but now, when I adjust the image and capture edits then apply, it seems that each adjust step i make to the adjust bars are added to each photo one after another, and not just the end result like in the source photo.
Video explains
here the result was not so bad what it was in other photos, totally oversaturated photos!
I'm i doing this wrong or is this just messed up?

Can't find your video to see exactly what you mean. Capture and Apply editing work fine in X6 - except with plugins. Haven't tried with X9 yet.

Re: PSP X9 Apply editing bug
I was able to watch your video by combining the two parts of your url in wordpad and then pasting that in a browser address window.
However in absence of sound, or a set of listed steps I was not able to determine what you were doing. The full screen image makes text of messages difficult to read .
"here the result was not so bad what it was in other photos, totally oversaturated photos!"
Then perhaps you should have used some images to show how bad it was and show what was your problem.

Re: PSP X9 Apply editing bug
Okay sorry for the lack of details
here is a new video:
https://youtu.be/YmQo-sUZSz8
PROBLEM:
it seems that when i adjust the photo to the result i want, psp will somehow record each adjustment as separate step and then apply them one after another,
and not just the final step (final positions of the adjustment bars)
this makes all the results unusable because you cant actually even adjust the photo. It works only if you click the suggest button and then are fine with the result and don't touch to any knobs anymore.

Re: PSP X9 Apply editing bug
OK watched your video a couple of times. Thanks for that. Sound was very clear and by slowing down the actions you made it easier to see what was being done.
I noted that you were changing and re changing a setting as another setting changed what you had already done. eg changing the saturation and then after changing the brightness finding that the saturation was not good and re-changing the saturation which again affected the brightness so a slight adjustment needed there again.
In a way it becomes like a dog chasing its own tail - you never quite catch up.
I note that you did not use the undo button at the top near the Garbage bin icon. That could be used to undo a couple of steps to brightness and then adjust brightness and back to the saturation - if still not suitable then undo some steps . That may avoid the adjustments adding up to an unsatisfying change.
I also noted you applied the same capture editing to images that were obviously not the same eg the 4th and 5th on the top line - the appear to be the same grouping of trees in the background, but the 5th one has more contrast than the 4th and so will need different editing.
I find that taking pictures outdoors in uncontrolled condition can result is so many different variations that the same editing will not apply to all. Whereas in say a controlled studio condition you can control the amount of light and direction so much that you could apply the same editing corrections to all images taken under the same conditions.
Have you thought about moving directly to Edit mode where you can record a script to suit a certain image and then toggle the execution mode to make slight image specific adjustments during the running of the script.

Re: PSP X9 Apply editing bug
Thanks
I remember using this method in psp X3 perhaps and it was working just fine. Of course not always if different conditions and tried to apply the same adjustments. But x3 photo browers contained so many bugs and ui errors that it was totally unusable in the long run.
I will use the undo next time.
But just for the relation: if you use any tool in edit mode, you can slide the adjustment knobs like million time and the edits aren't really applied to image after each, but only from original to the preview, until you click ok. So why here it's different, does somebody gain something from this?

You can get each minor change to show on the image in Edit mode by ticking the Preview on Image box . I have circled that in red.jukka wrote:Thanks

I used the Adjust > Brightness and Contrast > Highlight/Midtone/Shadow for one dialog and Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Hue/Saturation/Lightness and moved the Saturation slider as these controls seemed to be the ones you were using in your video.
You can also use from middle top (near Edit tab) Enhance Photo > Smart Photo Fix to get similar controls to what you were using in Adjust mode.
