VS x10 Ult FREEZES when using video from Google Pixel 120fps

Trevor thanks for the clip.

No problem playing the clip on either computer in project and clip modes, with and without Hardware Acceleration in X9 and X10.

Comparing your clip properties with the OP clip shows little difference in codec/profile in MediaInfo.

Asik just found your reply after had posted. Same answer for your clip, plays OK on my main setup in X9 & X10 with and with HW Acc.

The problem is not HFR thing, it could be Pixel thing.
all clips here where shot HFR but conformed to 30fps clip (in the camera) and this is what all players see or "expect" to see.
A true test could be with a standard 30fps clip from that Pixel.

But Trevor's sample is not from the Pixel phone, asik. Something else is happening that we have not yet pinpointed.

EDIT: I have zero issues with Trevor's Panasonic sample, even with all the hardware performance items ticked on. This is in both my pc as described on the right, and my Win 10 laptop.

I had a reply that indicates they were able to replicate the problem.

I do not have any problems with those samples, the 4K is a little slow to playback, but did not use Smart Proxy.
The frame rates of all seem to be variable, I only say that as the rate showing is not standard so we assume variable, which can cause issues.
But they seem ok.
Not the same as the 120fps samples as they had an additional onboard render to create that 30 fps video.

Anyway they played ok for me using X10

Everything else from the Pixel works fine. It is only the google pixel video taken in 120fps downloaded to the computer that has this problem for me. Thanks for the input.

My experience may shed some light on this file. In my desktop, described in the right panel, running Win 7 the file gives zero problems. In my laptop running Win 10, the file results in frozen X10 and X9, neither of the two versions of VS can cope with the file.

It appears the problem is Windows 10.

Thanks. Some people have had success with windows 10. Still trying to figure out why I don't.

Another day. Just rebooted the computer and opened X10. This computer has dual graphics -- an on-board Intel and an NVidia GeForce 710A. The Intel is the default. So this time I opted to use the NVidia graphics card. But it didn't change anything. X10 immediately froze when I tried to open the video.

And yes, my X10 is fully updated version X10.1.0.14 and yes, I have the QT codec installed.

But get this! I just started up a secondary computer, running Win 10 Pro and which has a single NVidia GeForce GT 330 graphics card. And on this machine I had no trouble inserting the video, getting the message about matching project properties, and playing the clip! So now I am even more stumped!!

It is really nice to see you still trying. This is so frustrating. Especially that it affects just me and intermittently others. Not Windows 10 specific, not NVIDIA specific, not laptop or desktop specific?

The video is in SloMo, as is the audio.
Use Speed Timelapse to increase the speed to 400% , that should be normal speed, playback in Project mode.

It's supposed to be in slow motion. The problem is the video freezes Videostudio 10 immediately upon insertion.

No problemo here on 19.2

The only problem is video recorded in 120fps (slow motion). Are any of these slow motion?
