Unable to Render Video by Sharing

Post by nickgroh5375 »

I'm currently using your free trial and I am unable to export my video.

It says either "this format is unavailable in windows 7 8 and 10" or "frame 0 is unreadable".

Right now I have been stuck in the "creating file...press esc to abort" screen for a half hour with no download time.

This is my first video in this software I am trying to export. I'm wondering what is occurring and I haven't seen anyone else solve this issue

Thanks!

The free trial version is next to useless since many features are crippled or missing. The HD formats are probably one of these features

THe only way to solve this issue is to purchase the full retail version

That image you posted shows the output properties. But what are the properties of your original video? Right click a clip in the Video Studio timeline and copy ALL the Properties here, or take a screen shot of the Properties box and upload it here as an Attachment.

When I've encountered this error in the past, it's because of a problem with the source video. You might try converting the source video to another video format that VS supports, and then import it into VS and 'Share' it to see if this is the problem.

Hi Nick

Your image seems to indicate you selecting Same as Project Settings, yet the properties show as mpeg4 type.
I did not think the Project Properties could be set to those options using the trial. Maybe the brain playing tricks, a while since I ran the Trial

If you deselect Same as Project Settings and choose one to the available options, I think Mpeg4 or Mov may be suitable, do you still have the same problems?

I've tried a few different export file names, but get similar messages.

I Also tried uploading the video directly to YouTube but got an error there also.

Hi

In which case it does appear to be a problem with the video file.
Where did you get the video from?

You can try renaming the file to use Mov as the file extension instead of MP4.

Works for some video files?

Thanks everyone.

Purchasing the Ultimate version made a fix. I was able to upload my video.

Thanks for the quick suggestions! Really awesome to see an active forum around a great product.
