COREL VIDEOSTUDIO X10
I am new to all this. I finally completed my first project. It's AVCHD 1920x1080 and I want to record it onto a DVD so I can watch it on TV.
I saved it on my PC but from Video studio I am trying to make a DVD. So I clicked on "share" then on the DVD image then AVCHD.
The size on the DVD is 4.7gb and 120 minutes. The project is 8.94 bg and 70 minutes long. It doesn't work. It seems I am trying to record data and I can't figure out how to change this.
What did I do wrong?
Thanks

Re: Newbe wants to make a video to watch on TV
Hi Christian
And welcome to the forums
There are several ways to view / play our video on our TV’s
1 / We can burn a Standard DVD, that requires converting / rendering our project to Mpeg2, using that file to burn a disc.
2 / You are using Avchd, I assume to be Bluray compliant, we can use those files to burn to Bluray discs. A Bluray burner is required on the pc and a Bluray player connected to the TV.
3 / We can play the video files on our TV providing the TV supports our video format.
If you have a USB terminal on TV or Player we can use that.
If you have a Smart TV, maybe video streaming directly from our PC via the home network.
Disc types
Share Disc DVD will convert the video to Mpeg2, (8000kbps) upto 75 minutes of video to disc at full quality.
Reduce the data rate to 6000kbps will allow for 90 minutes (good quality)
At 4000kbps will allow for 120 minutes (VHS Quality)
The option Share – Disc – AVCHD will create a hybrid disc, burning your HD video to SD disc (standard DVD Disc) limited to 30 minutes or so of video. Bluray Player required to play on tv.
Share Disc Bluray, standard discs are 25 Gb, my Panasonic records 1 hour at 8 Gb
Given the details you have provided I assume your data rate to be 18000Kbps ish.
Please right click a clip on the timeline and choose properties, what are they?
You can create a Jpeg image of that panel to attach to your post.
Can you give more details as to the type of disc you are trying to burn, or if you think the USB memory stick would be an option.
