I'd like to include my avatar in my posts. I have one that's 80 x 80 pixels but the file size is 42.5 KB which is way over what the board will accept. What would I have to do to reduce the file size to 6KB?

What image format is it presently? Did you use the Options to optimize the image output size? You can also try saving it as another image format, and in doing so make sure to use the advanced Options usually available with the different formats to optimize the image size.

The format is JPEG. I work with Paint Shop Pro. I'll look into the save options next time I'm at my 'puter.
