New Laptop, VSX10 & Win 10

I finally managed to get all my owned New Blue Packages to display in VSX10, Win 10

Copying and pasting from the desktop vft folder did not work
What I had to do was, install each New Blue Package, add the path (don't know why, never works) register each package, locate each package in the C: New Blue folder and copy the contents into the vft folder.
Bare in mind that not all New Blue Packages have 64 bit installers for VS and never will have, that link provided by Trevor, shows which products can be used with 64 bit VS, those marked "Consumer"

I've copied files from C:\Program Files (x86)\NewBlue\Art Effect for Windows and pasted them in C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X8\vft_plug (same in X10). Nothing's there. Did exactly the same with Video Essentials VI for Windows. Same result.

A little bit of confusion here, my post containing the link to NewBlue has not helped.

Video Studio installs a few NewBlue packages as part of the program.
This is a list that I see from X10 FX library.

You do not need to download any of these filters from New Blue.
The original post referred to Art Effects which is not part of Video Studio, we can download that but will get the Trial Version, pay for that and you will get the full version.

If you have downloaded Video Essentials VI and installed it will show in Programs and Features, I would uninstall that and any other packages you have installed, assuming you do not wish to purchase, seems a waste of money when the pack is already provided with Video Studio.

Lastly installing those packs may affect the existing Video Studio installation, so may be worth running the Bonus Features again to re-install those.

My Ultimate X10 shows exactly the same FX as your picture. I wanted, just like Robert, to install / use filters that I've paid for and provided directly from NewBlue site (Essentials VI 20/11/2013, Light Effects 22/11/2013, Art Effects 23/11/2013). These effects are showing on my two Windows 7 computers and I can use them very easily.

Don't think so Trevor, I had to install Essentials Packages 111 & V1 as those packages were not included, I also had to install package V as VS only included one filter from the package

Robert is absolutely right, but, contrary to him, III, V, VI, Art and Light Effects are not showing in any Ultimate X8 or X10 on my brand new X10 computer. Furthermore, Essentials V is not even in X6. Windows Defender SmartScreen refuses to install this last, although Windows Defender itself is de-activated.

I must add that I also bought, just like Robert, Essentials Package III and V. These and all other Effects are all showing / functional on my two Windows 7 computers (except for Light Effects on one computer because I have only X8 in it).
