I got another new problem. I captured MPEG-2 files from my DV camcorder. I was able to insert each clip in the Timeline. Each clip plays fine, however when I tried to Play the entire project, nothing happens. The Play button on the Navigation panel (right arrow) goes for a moment to the Pause (double vertical oines) and went back to the Play icon.
Please help.
System: AThlon 3200+ (2.20 GHz)

Windows XP SP2
VS 9.0

Follow up. I did a complete uninstallation following the procedures outlined in "chinito" post. Then re-install VS 9 but not the Update.
Turns out, I now could preview not only the separate clips but also the entire project.
