Preview playback problem VSX9

I am 5 mins into a project consisting of jpegs and MTS files (taken by me) with transitions.Near the end of the project, the preview playback stops then jumps onto the next subject usually following a slow response.Is this something that that will show up on the rendered file?

Hi Kenneth

Enable Smart Proxy - check these settings

Go to F6 – Performance tab
Tick Enable Smart Render
Set Create proxy files when video size is above 720 x 576
Tick Auto Generate

Ok the panel to Return to timeline
Ctrl+ A will select all clips,
Right click selection and choose Create Smart proxy files

Give it a few minutes to create those files, then try playing the project.

Should not be there when file is rendered. Probably all your edits, filters and transitions create a situation your pc can't handle well. Even my powerful pc can't handle it.
