Okay I realize this is a lame question but..
Watching an intro video on PSPX10 as the instructor free handed/moved the pointer through various ways to manipulate the functions. Now I'm pretty good with my trackball but the person on this video was very fast. If that is a mouse she is using I'm going to take up watching sunsets or some such thing.
Is there a setup with another devise, or is she using a touch screen or what?
Can someone throw some light on this, please?
Cheers,
Kenml,

There is no PSPX10; do you mean Video Studio X10? If so you could post your question here:

Re: Using the mouse or??
Also, I don't understand the question. It can depend on a lot of things, like device (but unlikely) or on how well the person knows the program. Or if they have practiced the tutorial a lot before the final recording, relying on very specific actions for a well-made video. Or video editing tricks to speed up the use of the mouse to present the information faster with a voice over.
NEVER COMPARE YOURSELF TO A VIDEO! Honestly, it makes no sense. It's rare that fast precise movements are the result of the device someone is using. And someone being good at a skill doesn't mean you should avoid that skill.
But, yes, if you could point us to the video in question that would be good. Impossible to tell you specifics based on "I saw a video" that we haven't seen.

I apologize for the confusion and lack of a link to the video. I did mean PSPX9,Kathy_9 wrote:There is no PSPX10; do you mean Video Studio X10? If so you could post your question here:

I realize the video could have been moved to warp speed, but my question; is there some other device being used - other than a mouse or trackball while working with PSP?

Re: Using the mouse or??
To answer the OP original question. The video is a mix of actual mouse / or tablet actions, video outlining , and video cropping.
1. In the start when sections are outlined in green at a lightning fast speed, that is an action being done on the video .
2. During the description of the selection tool, the action to do the selection is done at normal speed , the undo can be done using Control Z or even just cropped out of the video so the undo seems instantaneous to then have the image replaced without evidence of uploading.
The movements of the actual cursor are equal to that of a mouse with sensitivity set - not sure of a trackball or a tablet as I don't have those.
I have a logitech gaming mouse with a few extra buttons so that I can change the sensitivity of the cursor. My screen is about 21 inches wide and 12 inches up down. I only need to move my mouse 3inches horizontally and less than 2 inches vertically to go from one edge of the screen to the other. So being familiar with the program I can move the mouse to any position , do many actions which appear lightning fast and the apparent speed will only be throttled by the capture speed.
