crossfade transition in VS Prox10

Post by derekhughes »

Hi.
Is there any way of making the transition less than 1 second by default?
The transition editor seems to only allow 1 sec or more.

Due to poor programing in the past, the default can't be less than 1 sec.

Insert transition in timeline between two clips/photos. Then double click on the transition in the timeline. This should bring up the transition time. Place cursor on right-most numbers which are now probably 00. This entry is frames; increase it to the number of frames you want. Then move cursor to the next entry on the left and change to 00. The transition will now be however many frames you set it to.

Thanks for the answers

I was hoping to make a default crossfade, as I have a project where I have a lot of short scenes which I wanted crossfades of around 0.5sec.
I have done it by just dragging the fades to around that time by the mouse - reasonably quick.
