Video Studio X9 will not function

So... running VSX9 on Win10... When I bring in clips the separate clips will run, but when I click to run the project it just sits at 0:00 and won't move. If I move the cursor somewhere before I try to start it pops back to 0:00 and just sits. I've seen some stuff about taking out Windows Updates but they don't seem to be in my system unless they are incorporated in bigger ones.

Jim -- you've been on the forum long enough to know that the first things we are going to ask are what the Properties of the video are and what the Project Properties are.

The answers to that are mp4 videos and 640 x 480 mpg... and the videos work fine outside of VSX9

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem, also using Windows 10, everything was fine last week; therefore, I'm not sure what's going on but it's extremely frustrating. I created a project, rendered it, but wanted to make a change to it, when I open the project I can't view it in project mode nor can I edit it in clip mode, I also get the following error message "Attempted to access an unnamed file past its end." I have no idea what that means or how to fix it...

There was an windows update a couple of days ago, not sure if that's the issue...

Doing the latest update for X9 solved my problem. It's available on the Corel website...
