Apparently I have to make a post in order to keep my account registered.
How bizarre!
Here is a post.

Re: Posting policy
There is nothing Bizarre about needing to post to remain a member, if you have no intention of posting then why become a member, you can still view all the posts. This forum has about 15,000 members who actively use the forum, why clutter up the forum with thousands of members who will never contribute.
I am a founding member of the CyberLink forum which now has in excess 0f 350,000 members, of which less than 25,000 have ever posted, what a complete waste of resources

Re: Posting policy
Hi
The main reason for the Zero Post Policy is purely a security issue.
Unfortunately, the internet is full of thugs intent on reaping havoc on forums like ours,
Spammers hiding behind their registration without posting to raise their ugly heads later was a problem, others using the forum as an advertising medium also get deleted.
Now if you do not post your account will be removed, that does not change your capabilities to view the forum, you simply cannot post.
But it does allow the Administrators to manage membership much easier.
Believe me when I say it was a big problem causing a lot of work for Admin and Moderators.
