So I bought MSP 7 but MovieFactory 2 LE . . .

Post by PeterG »

Hi gang,

Well, I bought Media Studio Pro 7 at the special deal. Great price and happy I got it. But I am disappointed in the limitations of MovieFactory 2 LE. I find the menu creation very limited and sparse.

What I want is a good program for creating a DVD menu and from there burn my completed project to DVD.

So, what recommendations are out there for a good program to replace my MovieFactory 2 LE? Of course something that will not cost an arm and leg.

Thanks

Peter

Lowest cost: MF4 Upgrade: much better than the inbuilt MF2 with MANY more features: adequate for most work
Next: MF4 Disk Creator Upgrade: as above with some useful accessory features, not to do with authoring
Next: DVD Workshop 2 Express: A fantastic choice for very complex authoring at a reasonable price. There is a special upgrade price for MSP7 owners (not the regular upgrade)
Next: DVD Workshop 2, the nec plus ultra of authoring, but offers little more than the Express version unless you want more than 2 sound or subtitle tracks or to produce DLT tapes for glass mastering.

Not just the difference between chalk and cheese but between chalk and an artisanal reblochon from the Haute Savoie, made from full cream unpasteurised milk.

Is that right Devil? . . . hmm . . . I will check it out for sure then. Full cream from unpasteurized milk can be fattening however. I hope that DVD Workshop 2 isn't too heavy for my system . . . :D Trial download here I come . . .

Thanks . . . Peter
