Pencil-like behavior

Post by DoctorT »

Hi!

I am a newbie using Corel PSP X7 and I have a Wacom Intuos Pro (Small) v. 6.3.22-6 tablet both of which are running under Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).

I just started drawing and I don't like the way the pen behaves. What can I change so that the pen behaves more like a manual pencil on paper?

Thank you!

Set the Pressure ON ?
Hit the F11 key and you will get more options ...
They are also different brushes and ParticleShop.

When you say you 'don't like the way the pen behaves' what do you mean? I like the way mine 'behaves' simply because of the work I do. So it will/may depend on what you are trying to do. For more 'artistic' results I use Krita where there are far more options. But in PSP you will have to experiment with various settings and pen size/shapes etc to get a result that you are after.

Experiment with your Wacom tablet settings- you can customize for any program and save. Also, different pen tips give a different tactile feel.
