How do I import a word file into VSX9 and edit for credits?

Have made credit list in word and would like to bring in the doc into VS X9. Is that possible as a doc file? how do I do it?

Hi

And welcome to the forums.

Using the standard windows Copy and Paste options we can copy word doc text and paste to a Text / Title in X9.
You may have to run a few tests to set the correct font size in word before pasting to VS.

Ctrl+ A to select all text
Ctrl+ C to Copy
Ctrl + V to Paste

Thanks a bunch Trevor, I tried that but seems difficult to bring in several pages of txt. Importing half a page, no problem though.

Ill give it another shot

Save your Word file in plain TXT format, close Word.

Open the TXT file in Notepad then follow Trevor's instructions.

I've created such lists as scrolling text in VS - see around 3:30 in this video:

Thanks, Gewb! Now everything seems pretty much easier and your option saves me a lot of time. Before I used to use standard Microsoft key combinations.
