Patch install can't find VS9

Post by edward19283 »

Are you trying to patch a trial version of VS9? If so, you might need to install the paid version in order to run updates, patches, etc.

I downloaded the trial and paid for it and activated it. Is there another version for paid registrants? THe Ulead install file which I used to install the program is named: uvs9_tbyb_e_ulus.exe.

I'm not sure because after using the trial I bought a boxed copy. I believe somewhere in their FAQ Ulead mentions that the trial should be uninstalled before installing the paid **and** that the paid should NOT be installed in the same directory you used for the trial.

I'm not sure if any of this will solve your problem but prior to installing the paid I had the same issue as you, unable to run patches and updates.

Thank for the help. I will look to get a paid version and try that.

I guess this is a try before you buy version download of your VS9. This is only a trial version having tbyb in its file name. If you happen to lost your download link from them after your purchase, you may contact their technical support. I think you have to resend your confirmation email from your purchase. :)
