I am going to be on the road for the rest of the summer and I was looking at a laptop to due video rendering while I was on the road. I found a great deal on a certified refurbished HP 8570W Workstaion, with the i7-3720QM and the AMD FirePro M4000 gpu. I ordered the laptop, but when I got it, it did not have the AMD FirePro M4000 card; it has an Nvidia Quadro K1000m card. I like the laptop, but I am wondering if I should send it back. Whether I do or not, depends on whether the Quadro is better then the Firepro.
According to PassMark the FirePro is much better then the Quadro.
But I have read that the Quadro may be better for video (Adobe Premier). What say you guys?
