PSP X7 only prints b&w

Post by SamC »

After last PSP X7 update, will not print in color -- only prints b&w.
PSP X8 and X9 print in color or b&w

Just after you choose to print (File->Print), check the printer Properties and verify if it is set on Color or Black and white.

Thank you. Did your suggestion and it is set to color. Tried setting selection to b&w, then went back to color; made no difference. I want to keep X7 because of all the supporting programs I loaded into it. All was fine until I did the last update.

Are you low on any of your inks? I can't say it relates to your problem, but I once had a printer that would default to B&W even when color was selected if the print required more ink than the printer thought it had.

Thanks for your question. Inks are OK, as the printer (Epson R2880) works fine with PSP X8 and X9

I don't know if it if possible to remove the update without to uninstalling X7. If not, uninstall X7, reinstall, run the updates and not the culprit update.
What did the update adding to X7? Perhaps nothing you need. I have X7 too and didn't make the update. As my X7 was running fine, I decided not to update.

Thanx, Jean-Luc. I've been avoiding that, but if I can find all the download keys for the add-on programs . . . . . Also, I guess i'll get ahold of Corel tech support and see if I can just unload the update.
