]I have just discovered this great filter and was keen to apply to some very ordinary video. I have closely perused the tutorial videos and was confident that I had mastered it. However, it does not appear to work. Steps I took were (these are also shown in attached photos):
1. Moved video to timeline
2. Clicked on 'FX'
3. Selected ProDAD
4. Dragged Mercalli 2.0 over video timeline
5. Clicked 'Options'
6. Clicked 'Customize Filter' (Mercalli screen opens)
7. 'Compare View' is set to 'final result'
8. Clicked 'OK'
9. 'Mercalli - analyze video' executes
10. Played video in timeline and stabilization successful
11. Rendered video (to MPEG4 file).
12. Resultant video still has watermark 'Video Effect ProDAD Mercalli: The video analysis must be executed again'
It appears I must be missing a step. Help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Further information:
I was using the ouput profile for my MPEG4 file: XAVCS 1920 x 1080 and XAVCS 1280 x 720 These are the profiles that did not work
I have now tested AVC 1920 x 1080 and AVC 1280 x 720 AND THESE WORKED.
I attempted to test HEVC but got a message to the effect that my system does not currently meet the requirements.
I now have an option that appears to meet my needs (as long as I don't use XAVCS.

Re: ProDAD Mercalli Video Stabilization
It may seem strange, but check that your graphics card drivers are up to date, this issue has been previously reported and updating the drivers appear to have corrected the problem

Re: ProDAD Mercalli Video Stabilization
When you run the Mercalli analysis, it uses your Project properties. If you then render/share the project and change the properties of the rendered file, Mercalli analysis may not be compatible. If you change resolution, for example, the Mercalli analysis may not adapt to the shared/rendered file. The thing to do is set your Project Properties before running the Mercalli analysis.

Re: ProDAD Mercalli Video Stabilization
Hi
When we use Mercalli it compares frames with each other, so when we render to a new video file that frame rate has to be the same.
Increasing or reducing the frame rate will mess up the stabilisation.
I can only assume you are rendering to a higher frame rate. Are your original video files XAVCS
If not then silk purse and pigs ear comes to mind.
If you choose Share – Same as first clip – should render using the clips properties, retaining the original quality and Mercalli should work ok.
If you still feel the need to upscale your video file then do it to the new file...
