Hello,
I'm there, happy, running with a self built computer that's pretty damn good. it's running a 6800k (6 cores) cpu, 32Gb ram, a reasonable 980 gtx and an array of hard drives which, from memory, are as follows:
c: Samsung 850 256 M.2 (sata)
d: LSI MegaRAID SAS 9265-8i with 3x Samsung 850 500Gb, in Raid 0 (Video editing drive)
e: Samsung 850 Pro 500Gb (Scratch)
f: Samsung something or other 1TB (Games)
It all works perfectly fine especially after creating proxy files for 4k drone media.
In my wisdom I decided to make things a little simpler, reduce boot times, heat within the case, upgrading (ish) to a Samsung 960 evo 500Gb M.2. pcie/nvme (Or whatever it's called today) drive.
Mistake.
After creating proxy files, then selecting the option to trim the video it stutters upon playback. It didn't do this with the Raid array from the LSI card. Performance show positives, along with negatives, for the Samsung 960 Evo but the Crystalmark scores show similar results. I've tried without the Samsung driver, with the driver, but the same stuttering appears. very odd. Anyway I've returned the drive and will return to the Raid 0 setup.
Thanks for reading.
P.s. Results may vary. This post is for information only. No need to slam me or scream "Dude brah, da' system isn't setup right!"

With no LUT support, as far as I'm aware, along with not supporting so many plug-ins, I really must consider changing to another package. Shame as CVS x10 is so damn easy to use. I've moved from x8, to x9, to 9.5 to 10 and so I've spent the cash already.
