My laptop went belly-up over the weekend, and I had to reinstall everything on the replacement laptop.
When I got to VideoStudio X10 Ultimate, the install started ok, but then for some odd reason, the laptop rebooted in the middle of the install. After the reboot, I loaded VS as a test, and it ran ok, but I noticed later that not all of the extras had been installed, so I restarted the install and it finished installing everything as expected.
In checking the file system later, the next goofy thing I noticed is that the 'Corel VideoStudio X10' folder under 'Program FIles\Corel' is completely empty. Instead, the same folder under 'Program Files (x86)' contains all of the files/folders that I would expect to see under the 'Program Files' folder.
I doubt this is anything to really be concerned about, unless anyone else thinks I should uninstall and try the install again. I just thought it was odd that a 64bit program would install in a 32bit location.

Re: Odd install
Hi
A new Web Installer was provided a few weeks ago, unfortunately does install to the 32 bit program folder instead of the 64 bit folder. Corel are aware of this issue?
As far as I know there is no detriment to running the program.
Re-installing using the same file at 10,860 Kb will only install to same incorrect location.
If you have the older file at 10,796Kb then that should install 64 bit program to the correct folder….
C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio X10
Should you uninstall X10 then not all files and folders are removed from Corel VideoStudio X10
I would suggest removing those after uninstalling the program.
But as I say there is no problem running the program as far as I can tell.

Besides if your Laptop had not messed up, you would not have looked for the files and not found the change in installation location, how many out there just don't know?
