Anyone else experiencing their mouse cursor jumping to strange places when they click a VS icon?
In many places, when I try to click something the mouse jumps down and right - consistently and repeatably - and thus it seems clicks get lost.
My display is higher res, and I use 125% scaling in Windows. Usually only Adobe apps muck up the translation; but does Corel also suffer this scale factor issue?

Hi
I do not have a problem, have you tried setting the scaling back to 100%, maybe the 125% is causing this?

Re: Cursor Jumping Around
I need to use the Windows scaling feature... my monitor is large and high resolution. And of course maybe 125% is causing it - but it also may just be a defect in VS. That said, any application that runs on Windows should work and be compatible with Windows features.
I fought with Adobe CS over 125% scaling, they still haven't fixed it even though they acknowledge it is a known issue. CS is one particularly expensive application that does NOT work well with Windows - while Adobe's other products work as expected (e.g. Reader, Lightroom, Acrobat, etc). I do not want to fight it with Visual Studio... it makes the tool almost unusable.

Re: Cursor Jumping Around
Also - the worst of the jumping happens when selecting menu options. Pull down a menu to filter titles, for example, and after clicking a choice the cursor jumps and is now lost on screen. And it never jumps to the same place - but it appears related to menu size and where the selection is made. Atrocious UI defect.

Re: Cursor Jumping Around
Hi
I suggested setting 100% to see if that cures the curser jumping problem.
If it is associated with increasing the scaling to 125% then you should contact Corel support, I do not see you have any choice if you want to use the program.
Unless someone else has a solution............
Although you do seem to have had this problem with Adobe, and been through the mill there.
And yes it is something that Corel should address, but will do nothing without being told of the problem.
Unfortunately we do not work for Corel, we are just like you, guys using the program and trying to help others, simply volunteers running the forum.
Let us know if 100% allows you to edit your text boxes in your other post
