Saving Project DVD

Post by owenjames »

I have just upgraded to X10. I was attempting to produce a DVD but received a warning to the effect that the working folder (C drive)may not have enough space. However working folder is set to J drive. X8 was not an issue

Help appreciated.

You'll find that, on opening the burner module and clicking on the first icon in the bottom left of the Burning screen (Settings and Options) that there is yet another working folder that you have to set. By default it is set to the C:\ drive. Just change that to your J:\ drive folder the same as the others.

I create DVD's regularly with this sort of preference configuration (all versions, but haven't tried it with X10 yet) and haven't seen this mismatch (between specified working folder and what seems to be the actual working folder) before.

Have you applied service pack 1 yet? (select help about, and it looks like X10.1.0.14. If the number in the 2nd position is a 0, you haven't got sp1 installed). If not, do so (help, check for updates), and try the DVD composition again.

If the result is still the same, or you already have sp1 installed, then since you've clearly just upgraded, you are probably within the Corel product support window. It's not long, so report it ASAP. The X10 version numbers and available disk space for the drives reported or configured (explorer, right click on drive, select properties) on both your C:drive and the J: drive would be useful data to include.
