INSERT ADVD FILE BUT NO SOUND

I AM TRYING TO INSERT IN THE LIBRARY A DVD FILE THAT I CREATED WITH A CAMERA BUT I HAVE NO SOUND.
THE FILE IN THE LIBRARY IS A MPG FILE
I DON'T HAVE THE SAME PROBLEME WITH A WMV FILE.

What version of Videostudio are you using, and what format is the audio in? The newer Sony cameras record Dolby audio, which isn't supported by all versions of Videostudio. If it is 5.1-channel Dolby audio, it isn't fully supported at all.

Thanks for response.I am using videostudio 8 SE and the audio in is "Dolby Digital audio".Is there a solution for this probleme or sould I use
another progremme.

You can either buy Ulead's Dolby Digital Powerpack to add AC-3 support (it's still available from Element5, Ulead's ESD partner), or you can upgrade to Videostudio 9, which includes AC-3 support out-of-the-box.

The price difference between the two is fairly minimal, so I would go with the latter.
