Working on a lacrosse video for friend. He would like that semi-transparent bubble on the player to identify. I have not done this at all yet and tried googling videos but still having problems. I have initiated some motion tracking and lightly understand the concept but have 2 issues(so far).
1) When i hit track motion, or record, most of the times the crosshair gets transferred to player that crosses paths with my target.
2) Once I get the motion tracker set, how do I add a semitransparent bubble, or possibly an arrow .png to follow target?
Thanks all.

Re: Highlighting player (motion tracker?)
If I may pop in on this,
There is a nice Tutorial at the Corel Discovery Center (Learning Area) that seems to cover the 'follow a player with an arrow' concept you describe:
http://learn.corel.com/tutorials/introduction-to-motion-tracking/
One of the tough aspects of Motion Tracking is yes, when things 'go behind' other things or leave the frame temporarily, Trackers lose their reference points. Unless someone comes along with a better way below, I personally just correct those parts manually, even though it can be a pain at times, heh.

Re: Highlighting player (motion tracker?)
yes the biggest problem with track motion is choosing a point to track that stays on screen all the time - as Troy says you may have to manually correct or fill in the path when that happens
here is a demo I made way back in X6 and you can see that the minute the target leaves the screen the tracker stops
