Annoying PSP X7 issue

Post by esebm »

Hi,
I recently needed to edit several dozen images (Win 10, 64 b, PSP X7).
In PSP clicked on File -->Open, the file view is "Large Icons". I switch to "Details", edit my image, save it, file view opens in "Details".
Open the next image, again it opens in the large icon view, I have to change it again to details, etc.
This goes on with every single image and, after a while, this gets pretty annoying.
Is there a setting where I can tell PSP to open files in "Details" view only?
Thanks,
Ed

When you use the menu item File>Open then PSP opens the folders in Windows Explorer. So you're going to see the files displayed in whatever view you have set for that folder in Windows Explorer. It's not a PSP issue, it's a Windows Explorer setting.

That makes sense!
The funny thing is that I had set that folder to the "Details" view but PSP doesn't seem to give a hoot about that setting.
Thanks for the quick response.
