TBYB shoud be BBYT..

Post by Ron P. »

I've just tried numerous times to d/l, install and try Photoimpact 10. I have no problems downloading, & no problems with installing(the only one so far from Ulead). However when I go to run it, the box says my 30 day trial has expired. My how time flies...2minutes from d/l (I thought) and come to find out it took 30 days to d/l and install....

Ok, I have researched thinking maybe I've d/l and ran this program before. So I logged into my account on Ulead's site. Checked my downloaded programs and there is no record of downloading PI 10. Just the others that incidently I have purchased.
I then uninstalled PI10, including any folders created, then deleted any reference to PI10 from the registry. Re-installed and same thing.

I done the above about 4 times, then came to the conclusion that Ulead is wrong on it's acronym. It's not TBYB (Try Before You Buy) It is BBYT (Buy Before You Try)...

I guess I don't want this one anyhow...I have a lot better ones, Like Jasc PSP9, Corel Draw/PhotoPaint, heck Irfanview is better. At least it can be used...

Done venting now....

Regards :)

Unlucky for you that out of the many users who use the trial version, you get to have this problem. Unfortunately, no one will be able to help you reset the trial version. If anyone solves it, then it would have advertized how to reset a trial version and people might just do so everytime it expries.

Has nothing to do with resetting a trial version. I have never downloaded and ran it. For some reason it says I have.
