As I understand it, the Alt code is 0174 but those Alt codes don't seem to work in VS. I have never tried to use the ® symbol but I just did what I normally do with foreign language symbols. I opened Microsoft Word and went to Insert > Symbol and insert the ® symbol into the document. Then I copied that, and in VS clicked on the Title timeline and double clicked on the preview screen to insert a title, then dropped the ® symbol on screen using Ctrl+V. Rather clunky way of doing it, I know, but it worked just fine.

my process is virtually the same as Kens except I just open the windows character map and copy the symbol - then follow Kens method t paste in Videostudio

I figured it out!!!!! I used the caption box entry to add the code and then edited in in the title options menu
