Render crashes program at same point for original project
I have created a short sample project, also crashing.
Timelines contain one MTS video + crossfade to Jpeg image
Titleline contains text box starting in centre of transition.
If I remove the title then render is ok but with title render crashes program
Further tests seem to indicate the Title + Jpeg is the culprit, but rendering to project settings as MTS settings.
I have uploaded a Smart Package for X10, can anyone replicate this problem.

Re: CVSX10 render crash
No problems at all for me Trevor
downloaded your package and unzipped
opened vsp file and re-linked files
noted that the title did not start during the cross fade but two seconds into the jpeg - left it where it was - rendered 'same as first video clip'
rendered successfully
back to 'edit' moved start of title to middle of crossfade - rendered again 'same as first video clip'
rendered successfully

Re: CVSX10 render crash
Thanks Brian
The only way I could render the Jpeg and Title was to first convert Jpeg to a video file, then the combination worked.
Just rendering the full project as write this post
I must admit it is the first time I have ever had a project freeze rendering.
I had rendered the project a few weeks ago with no problems, then changed a few bits, although not these clips. Last night simply froze at 58%, repeatable.
Odd maybe my pc, could be X10 and SP1?
Oh rendering to MP4 was not a problem???

Re: CVSX10 render crash
No problems in my laptop running X10, no problems running X9; my laptop runs Windows 10. My big pc (details on the right) running Windows 7 Professional running X9 also has no problems.

Re: CVSX10 render crash
Thanks Al
It does appear to be my pc environment, but then strange that X8 works ok.
can I ask, what version of CVSX10 are you running.
I am using X10.1.0.14 64 bit.

Re: CVSX10 render crash
I had X10 10.0.0.135 when I posted earlier. When I went in X10 to get the version I had, the dialog popped up about SP1 being available. I accepted and it installed. My X10 in the laptop is now 10.1.0.14 (64 bit). I reloaded your crash VSP and rendered as project settings and it worked fine.

Same as all the other respondents - renders OK. Tried both User Accounts, same both times - all OK.
Running X10.1.0.14 both set-ups. Is X8 64 bit or 32 bit? I missed that version and X7 too.
