X10.1.0.14 Share panel wrong display
Hi
Running CVSX10 version X10.1.0.14
When I view the Share panel usually the lower section displaying the File Name, File Location and Start button is visible.
Now I have to scroll down the panel to view these options.
Can you look, is it the same for you or just my setup?
I have not resized the panels in any way, take care if you try resizing will mess-up the panels order and F7 has no effect,

Hi Brian
Yes I certainly do remember that, I assume you see the same.
I did manage to drag the panels to create the correct layout, now that layout remains correct all the time.
F7 does not affect the Share panels, nor does creating a custom layout
It has to be SP1?

I'm editing on a 4K monitor and can see everything.... and have plenty of space left too! Even moving the VS program window to my 24" 1080 monitor, I see everything.

I do not have SP1 installed (something about invalid serial number.... go figure... the program works completely. Will uninstall and reinstall). I have 137.

Hi
as far as I know the problem is specific to CVSX10 and SP1. as title of post.
If you installed an earlier SP hotfix then you have to re - install X10 before SP1 will install.

Re: X10.1.0.14 Share panel wrong display
Trevor,
I just uninstalled CVSX10 137 with Revo Pro. It found a few hundred registry and folders left over from just "uninstalling". I also removed personal settings. I used the stub installer to download the last web version of the program.
It installed with 137 version. Tried to install SP1 and get the same error. Invalid serial number. Everything for Ultimate is installed and registered. Reg serial number shows up in my Corel login.
Opened a ticket to see what is wrong at my end.

Re: X10.1.0.14 Share panel wrong display
Hi Tony
It is strange that we seem to have different issues with the program, some that others cannot replicate.
I tried Revo but maybe asked too much
I installed X10 using Revo so it could log the installation, then installed SP1 again through Revo.
Now everything installed ok and I did replicate this issue.
Big mistake, I asked Revo to remove SP1, ok so that messed up Video Studio. but to be fair Revo did then remove X10 ok.
I think I would use Revo but also continue to backup my c-drive to a System Image.
So now I install X10 again and cannot replicate the Share panel issue, Hmm.

Re: X10.1.0.14 Share panel wrong display
Neither you nor I are novices at installing and uninstalling programs. Maybe my situation is a "one off", but I have a pretty good grasp of the workings of computers and programs, and am stuck at this point. It's nothing I've done, but something on Corel's end that says my serial number is invalid.
With so many registry entries, files, and folders for the program now, along with it's increased size, things are going to happen.

I get both!
Let me explain, under my usual User Account, X10 Ultimate shows as you do, I have to scroll down to view the File Name etc when in the Share tab. But, if I change User Account to the new one I had to set up for the hang/transition problem using X10 Ultimate Share tab, I get your old view - where the bottom panel does not stretch over the File Name, so no scrolling necessary.

Re: X10.1.0.14 Share panel wrong display
Thanks John
At least I know its not just my pc and you have replicated the issue.
With the lower section hidden, you can re-arrange the panels. Drag the edges, look for the blue anchor arrows.
Took me a while to work out the layout, but was able to do, eventually...
Then the correct layout remains even after re-booting the program.
There is a layout option for the Edit Screen, F7 will reset to default, Create and save your own layout.
But the layout options do not work for the Share panel, neither does F7 reset

Re: X10.1.0.14 Share panel wrong display
Hi chaofei
When you say “encounter same problem here”
Are you referring to the share panel, if yes --- you may be best manually rearranging the panels to display the Start buttons etc.
Or are you referring to Tony’s Serial number issue?
Unless someone has informed Corel Support I doubt they are aware.
I reinstalled my program and things worked ok, so I do not know why the problem showed in the first place.
