Well, Good Afternoon..
I have PSP Versions X4. X6 and X8 installed on my computer running Windows 10. They worked flawlessly with Windows 08, but hey, Windows 10 was installed automatically one night while I was wasn't looking.
About two Windows updates ago, I noted that when using PSP X8 with about five images open, it simply froze. I clicked on the icon and it showed only about 2 images open and the others were struggling to load. Several minutes later, they had all successfully loaded, but within a moment or so, it froze again.
I reverted to one of the remaining programs, and they worked as Corel and nature intended. Within a few days, it became clear that whatever was disabling Version X8 had taken over the other two as well.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Version X8 a few hours ago, and nothing has changed. It still freezes with 5 images open. The patches are installed..
So, appealing to the great minds that hang out here, what is my next step? Where can I go from here? Do you think uninstalling and reinstalling the other two versions would help? I tried to restore the computer to a pre-update point when everything worked, but it comes as no surprise that I had no restore points. They had been wiped out, likely by the same update.
Muriel!
