Move multiple Layers simultaneously. Spostare più livelli

Post by -Michael- »

Hello to all. In Corel Paint Shop X9, how do I move several layers at once? Now I have to move a layer at a time.

Thanks

Michael

Ciao A tutti. In corel Paint Shop X9, come faccio a spostare più livelli contemporaneamente? Adesso devo spostare un livello alla volta.

You can select each layer you wish to move while depressing Ctrl key, then move all selected.

Thank you for the reply. Selecting levels in the way you suggested, by clicking and dragging a layer in the image, it only moves to them, and the others remain in place. What mistake? There is a video where I can watch or a gif?

Grazie per la risposta. Selezionando i livelli nel modo che mi hai suggerito, cliccando e spostando un livello nell'immagine, si sposta solamente quello li, e gli altri rimangono al loro posto. In cosa sbaglio? C'è un video dove posso guardare o una gif?

Here's a video where I demonstrate three different methods for moving multiple layers - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EGFveR ... sp=sharing

There are three ways to move multiple layers at the same time. This depends on the tool you're using.

If you use the Pick tool (arrow) select all of the layers in the layers palette a bounding box will surround all of the selected layers then you just grab the box and move them. This is the easiest option.

With the Move tool (four pointed arrows) you can only move one layer at a time unless the layers are linked or in a group.

When you add multiple layers to a group it auto-links all of the layers in the group. So when you move the group layer using the move tool, all layers under the group move.

Finally, if you don't want to group layers you can identify several layers as all belonging to the same group. You do this by selecting all of the layers you want to move and clicking on the "link/unlink" button the layes palette. This looks like a chain. Once linked all you have to do is move one layer with the move tool and all of the other linked layers will move with it.

Again, the easiest option is to use the Pick tool and select the layers in the layers palette.

LeviFiction beat me to it. I was going to say, 'If you use the Pick tool (arrow) select all of the layers in the layers palette a bounding box will surround all of the selected layers then you just grab the box and move them. This is the easiest option'.

I prefer this method as you can see which layer/s is/are selected in the layers palette.
