So I have video shot on an iPhone, 720p, H.264, at 120 fps. I plan the final render to be 720p at 30fps.
There's a section that I want to show in slow motion, taking advantage of the 120fps. If I go to Video/Speed and Time Lapse, should I just set the speed to 25% (since 30fps is 25% of 120fps), or would I also need to specify something in the frame frequency field?

As far as we know VS do not have native support of HFR files and the frame frequency field is useless since X8X9X10qtrim wrote:So I have video shot on an iPhone, 720p, H.264, at 120 fps. I plan the final render to be 720p at 30fps.

Hi
Video Studio timelines set a frame rate according to our video frame rate, this is normally 30 or 60 fps for NTSC video.
There is no option to set the timelines to use 120 fps.
Consequently adding your video to the timeline having 60fps will only display your video at 60fps, effectively removing every alternative frame.
The video may look and play ok within the program.
How long is your video?
You could rip the video frames to images, (Video to Jpeg Converter) there would be a lot, then you can add all images to the timeline set to 1 frame duration .
The timeline being set to 29.97 / 30 fps would play your video in slow-mo.
