Where is the 'Mask Show All' icon please?
It mentions it in this tutorial - http://www.pixalo.com/articles/Photo-bl ... op-pro.php
It says, "Then click on the 'Mask Show All' icon at the top of the palette." I looked everywhere but can't find it. Maybe the article is 20 years old or something.
I want to blend two photos but can't find anything relevant to PSPX9.

Re: 'Mask Show All' icon
The icon looks like the mask the Lone Ranger wore. In order to see it make sure your Layers Palette is visible. To enable the Layers Palette go to View -> Palettes -> Layers. Click on the Mask Icon and it will open the box shown above by the arrow.

Re: 'Mask Show All' icon
The instructions on the website you are referencing will not work. Instead of "show all", you should be selecting "Mask from Image" on the top layer. If the top layer contains blown out sky as in the example, then you will need to also select "Invert Mask Data".

Re: 'Mask Show All' icon
How exactly does this work? I've never pasted anything into a mask layer before.
Oh no i get it. It uses a black and white copy of the the background as the mask so as it happens only the sky is visible being as it is lighter.
Clever.
