I have just installed Upgrade MSP7 on my PC running XP Pro SP2. When I click for capture to run, I get an error and XP wants to send an error report. The AppName: vcapture.exe AppVer:7.2.0.0 ModName: uvcapmain.dll.
If I do a search, I do not find the .dll file on the PC.
I have MSP 7 upgrade with patch 3 installed.
VS 8 installed.
Disk Creator 3 installed.
AMD 64 3200
Dedicated 160 GB video harddrive
1GB memory
ATI 9600 128mb video.
Any ideas what I have to do to get the capture to run. I want to edit video from some DVD's that I have made from a handicam.

Video Capture does not load
I found that Video Capture would not come up, and crashed similar to what you describe, until I downloaded and installed the MSP7 service pack 3. After that it started to work OK.
