Uninstalling VS X8

Uninstalling VS X8
I have recently purchased and installed VS X10. I had been using VS X8 and would like to uninstall it. I would like to keep all of the files that I have generated in VS X8. Will the uninstall of VS X8 affect those files?? Thanks!!!

Uninstalling VS never removes any files created or used by that version. If you want to remove everything, there is a removal tool for X8 at http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewtopic.php ... 86#p329686
At the same time I should note that there is no need to remove X8 just because you have X10 unless space on your hard drive is a problem. Some of us keep several versions on the one computer. There are no conflicts. And some people do so because they find it is sometimes useful to have a backup video editor in case something goes wrong with the later version.
